Thunderstorm Cooldown

Probably one of the few times you’ll hear me say, “I’m so glad it’s raining”. That’s because after these flash-flooding, zero-visibility, majestic thunderstorms, the temperature was going to drop. And that’s a good thing knowing I’ll be outside in a tux on Saturday. The bad thing was that it hit us right at the start of rush hour when all my friends were meeting up for food and drinks. Here Comes the Rain

Almost got through this trip without a rainy day. I got by with some sprinkles in Hong Kong. Things eventually cleared up. However, today it was rain all day. There were periods of sprinkles or even no rain, but that was under the cover of heavy fog and blistering cold breezes. Nothing to do but stay in or as we did, sneak out when we could. Rain Day

It was a scattered rain storm day. And rain storm isn’t quite the word. It was a chaotic down pour if you got caught in one of these rain clouds roaming the island. Unfortunately, one of them came out to Waimea Bay to ruin our snorkeling and beach afternoon. We ended up searching for other beaches because at the time, Waikiki was being hit by rain.
